The American Association of University Women is an organization dedicated to promoting equity, education, individual worth, intellectual growth and development of opportunities for women and girls. Scholarship funds are available to women in need who want to go back to college; two scholarships are given each semester (a total of $900.00 is given annually). Open monthly meetings are held with guest speakers being scheduled. Each monthly meeting concerns issues affecting the community, especially women and girls.
