BETHS Place provides temporary shelter for abused women and their children. Advocates can assist with orders of protection and information on various topics relating to abuse such as safety plans and women's rights in abusive situations. It also provides referrals to counseling as well as support and information on options available to persons in abusive situations. Staff will send out information packets on request. It offers training for advocates who wish to work with abused women. The support group meets on Monday nights from 6pm-7:30pm at the shelter (call for directions). The shelter serves Douglas County and outskirts.
