VFW Post 5520 provides a meeting place for van transportation three times a week for appointments at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Danville. This service is for Veterans only. The van is not wheel-chair accessible and no oxygen tanks or large medical equipment can be transported. Scheduled days are subject to change. There is no charge to eligible veterans but call in advance to schedule transportation. VFW Post 5520 also supplies the community with loans of equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, walkers, canes or other medical devices.This information was last updated on 01/08/2008
