The Champaign County Public Health Department funds, supports, and directs the activities of the Champaign County Dental Access Program,which serves the oral health needs of children living in Champaign County outside Champaign-Urbana. Many other services are provided via a contractual relationship with Champaign-Urbana Public Health District. These services include: dental care for children living in Champaign-Urbana; testing for HIV, Tuberculosis, and sexually transmitted diseases; tests for lead poisoning; high blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels; school physicals; immunizations; food, sewage and other environmental inspections; infectious disease investigations; health education; smoking cessation;emergency planning and response; home health visits to those with chronic diseases; Medicaid applications; developmental screening and food coupons to pregnant women,infants, and children (WIC).This information was last updated on 07/23/2007
